Starved Rock Puzzle

The iconic Starved Rock Map, now in puzzle format; a first of its kind.

Tips for Completing the Puzzle Faster:

  1. Sort All the Pieces: Begin by sorting all the puzzle pieces by color, edge pieces, and patterns. This will make it easier to locate specific pieces as you progress.

  2. Complete the Border: Start by finding and assembling all the edge pieces to create the border of the puzzle. This provides a framework and makes it easier to visualize the remaining sections.

  3. Identify Key Sections: Look for distinct areas in the puzzle image, such as prominent landmarks, specific colors, or unique patterns. Group these pieces together to focus on one section at a time.

  4. Work on Small Areas: Instead of trying to complete the puzzle from one side to the other, work on small sections. This approach makes it less overwhelming and more manageable.

  5. Use the Puzzle Image: Keep the puzzle image nearby for reference. This will help you identify where pieces might fit based on their color and pattern.

  6. Rotate Pieces: Don’t hesitate to rotate pieces to see how they might fit. Sometimes a piece might look like it doesn’t belong until it’s rotated correctly.

  7. Be Patient: Puzzles can be challenging, so take your time and enjoy the process. If you get stuck, take a break and return with fresh eyes.

  8. Work with Good Lighting: Ensure you are working in a well-lit area. Good lighting helps you distinguish between similar colors and patterns.

  9. Stay Organized: Keep your workspace organized to avoid losing pieces. Consider using trays or small containers to separate different groups of pieces.

  10. Celebrate Progress: Every piece you place is a step closer to completing the puzzle. Celebrate your progress and enjoy the sense of accomplishment as the picture comes together.
